The Bachelorette Recap

Don't worry if you missed last night's show- you missed nothing. Except Rated-R treking all the way to Ali's mansion. (If you ask me, I think the producers put him up to it and gave him a lift). Nothing happened, nothing happened, then the rose ceremony. Who is Chris N? She must like to look at him because that's about all they've done. And Johnathan got a rose. Boo. He actually said "Can we go somewhere and have a real first kiss?" Shut up. Loser. I have to give a shout out to the guy with the curly hair- he didn't get a rose. He really really tried. Like REALLY. :(  Another small thing that happened- Kreepy Kasey called Rated-R CREEPY! Pot, meet Kettle.

Can we talk about next week- Kreepy serenades Ali on their 1 on 1 time. Katrina and I rewound (is that a word)over and over just to watch. Hilarious. Even Ali thinks so. If you don't watch the show- please please watch next week just for that part. Also, I so predict Weatherman will get the role in the Lion King. he just screams Broadway performer to me.

The Bachelorette...season 48

Now that The Bachelorette has had 2 episodes, I feel that it is time for a blog about it. I will put my thoughts in order of importance:
1. Kreepy Kasey has got to go. He will only get worse- just watch. "Be nice to her or I will have to come and get you." Really? You have only known Ali for 2.5 seconds. You do not have to protect her with your life.
2. Weatherman (his name is Jonathan in case you missed that) is a 3rd grade girl. Newsflash- no one likes a tattletale. Ali is only keeping you around for gossip sessions. She has no interest in EVER marrying you.
3. Good bye craig. That's all the space I will waste on him.
4. Robert-O and Frank: my predictions for the final two.
5. Does Ali really have a back tat? I need to know.
6. Enough of the man bikini bottoms. Enough.
7. Does anyone else feel like some of the guys get the shaft on TV time. Who are some of those guys that got roses last night?
8. Which one gave her the scrapbook? I am pretty sure he is still around and he needs to go. Seriously.

Fail

SATC2  should not have been. Clearly they ran out of ideas in the first movie. Yes, I am glad I saw it, and I had a good time with my friends. It was just not good. Dull at times and cheesy at others. Boo.

SATC 2 Tonight!

Jennifer, Katrina, Laura Beth, and I are going to see Sex in the City 2 tonight! I am so very excited. I loved the shows and the first movie, so I know that I will love this as well. I have seen the trailer about a hundred times (no lie). I will let you know what I think! P.S.- I hear a SATC3 is in the works. One can only dream! :)

Unbelieveable

Has anyone seen "Toddlers and Tiaras" on TLC? What.Are.Those.People.Thinking?! Seriously? I just heard a 4 year-old use the term BFF, and a mom said she bought her child a $1,000 dress. Also- THERE ARE BOYS IN THESE PAGEANTS! Please. The dads- nuts. They are right up there with the moms smilling and dancing and being fools. Not sure about your husbands/boyfriends/significant others, but Rob would not be caught dead at a kid pageant. And he certainly wouldn't be dancing with the kids.
Don't even get me started on flippers (not the dolphin) and spray tans. When did kids stop being kids? There is no way these kids are happy. They practice all the time and spend every weekend at some hotel being in a pageant.
If you haven't watched the show, don't bother. It's ridiculous.

Wonderful Summer

If anyone would like to know where to find me for the next two months I will give you a clue:
Today was a perfect day to go to the pool to begin the summer season. If anyone is looking for someone to hang out with all summer, look no further than the Vicksburg Country Club. I will be there every day except Monday- and only because they are closed that day. Have a happy summer!

You never know...

Whenever you come across someone, treat them with kindness. You never know what they may be going through. Your kind smile or words may be the only bright spot in their entire day.
